Happy Halloween Eve (I suppose that’s what it’s called!) We are counting down the hours now until the big day, and for some of us, there are still preparations to be made. I was feeling festive and crafty, so I decided to whip up some fun little Halloween treat jars!
You might recognize the design from when I did my dollar store Valentine jars. It’s the same exact thing, except it’s filled with Halloween candy!
What you’ll need:
- Jars- I used some old baby food jars I had
- Candy of choice- I used Justin’s mini dark chocolate peanut butter cups and Little Secrets dark chocolate candies
- Cupcake cups
- Twine- found in the dollar section at Target
- Construction paper
- Permanent markers
- Glue stick
- Hole punch
- Tiny rubber bands – these work great!
Just like before, fill your jars up with candy, put the cupcake cup on top and secure into place with a rubber band. Prepare your tags like I’ve done below and add a fun little message. Hole punch and thread the twine through. Tie the twine around the liner and pull tightly.
And that’s it! These are perfect for party favors, gifts for teachers and coworkers, or just spooking up someone’s day!

Until the next project!
