This year, Michael and I started a variety of veggies and herbs in our kitchen. We planted tomatoes, celery, basil, parsley, oregano, peppers, and a few other things. They started out great, but we quickly started running out of room in our kitchen and needed a place to relocate everything.

Falling leaves finger paint craft

For obvious reasons, fall is probably my favorite season; the changing leaves, the crisp autumn air, the excuse to break out all my scarves and boots. All in all, it’s just a truly beautiful time of year. Something else notable about fall is that it’s back to school season. I don’t know about you, but I always loved going school supply shopping every single year with my mom.

Well, it only took me five weeks, but River’s announcements are finally finished and ready to mail out! Not too bad for a momma who also has a busy (and slightly naughty) toddler on her hands! But part of the reason why these took a little longer was because I decided to design them myself using PicMonkey.

These yarn dolls are something that my sister and I used to make all. the time. My mom had taught us how, and I just remember doing it over and over again for years, perfecting my technique and finding more ways to give them a little more character.
