Alright gang, I’m sorry that I haven’t made an actual post in a few days. But I promise as soon as I get caught up on my 30 Day Challenge posts, I will get back to it!

Day 15: Where Will You Be In Five Years?

Well let’s see… Five years ago, I never thought I would be here; blessed with a beautiful daughter, engaged to my best friend, at home all day cooking and cleaning, being the best mommy
I can be. In all honesty, no one can really be certain of what life’s going to have in store for them. The only thing you can do is just accept what is and make the best of it.

Five years from now, I’m not sure where I’ll be but I hope it’s somewhere that makes me happy. I imagine that Hadley will be in school, maybe have a sibling or two, and I would love nothing more than to be at home, with the wonderful privilege of being able to drop her off, pick her up, and just be there to ask her about her day. I see Michael and I buying a house and making it our own, after our big, fancy wedding of course. Maybe we’ll have our dream cars by then, too (a.k.a. a Honda Element and a Subaru Crosstrek).

I see a lot of things changing between now and five years down the road… Mostly good, probably some bad; but in any case, life’s gonna happen how it’s gonna happen, and all we can do is make the best of what we’re given. 🙂
