If you’re an expectant momma or have given birth recently, you don’t wanna miss out on this awesome baby freebie!
From Pea to Pumpkin
is a journal that keeps track of baby’s first year, which you can receive for FREE through a program called ScholarShare. Please note that this offer is limited to California and Washington residents only. All you have to do is fill out the online form with your name, address, phone number, and email address, and that’s it! You can expect delivery within 1-2 weeks; mine arrived in about 10 days!
I received some program information along with the book, but haven’t received any additional emails or spam. 🙂
(Note: The book currently being shown on the program website is for the pregnancy journal. I expect that they have since changed it to the baby journal without updating the website, but there is a chance that you may receive the pregnancy journal instead!)
From Pea to Pumpkin includes month by month check-ins, allowing you to keep track of all the important milestones in your baby’s development. It begins with a welcome section, with a whole page dedicated to all of baby’s birth stats, your birth experience, and the origin of their name and why you picked it. So cute!
The month by month pages include a spot for a picture as well as current height and weight. This is a really great way to keep track of all the important stuff like that and keep it in one place. I really wish I had known about this for Hadley because all I have are the measurement charts from her monthly appointments!
Also included are matching cutouts for taking month by month pictures. This is one of my favorite parts of the whole book because I loved taking Hadley’s month by month pictures and look forward to doing the same with Baby 2! Plus, the little fruit and veggie themed cutouts are just too cute!
The journal is packed full of additional pages to keep track of important dates and experiences, including how they spent their first holidays, their favorite activities and possessions, and a timeline of all their “firsts” (smile, laugh, haircut, steps, etc.). It concludes with a space for you to write a letter to them on their first birthday.
Overall, I believe this journal is a must-have for every new parent. Your baby’s first year is a time you should treasure and remember each and every moment of. And, speaking from experience, it tends to fly by so quickly that before you know it, they’re well on their way to toddlerhood, and a new adventure begins.
Plus, it’s absolutely FREE! So order yours today! It can also make for an awesome shower gift. 🙂
