Well, after a super busy and fun-filled week, I’ve finally managed to find some time to post a little update! My mom made the decision to adopt an extremely cute mini aussie puppy and this week, Michael and I have been watching him for her!
His name is Boone.
And he is full of energy! To be honest, I had almost forgotten what it’s like to have a small puppy around, as opposed to the giant one I already have…
…Rebel! (Who is actually going to be three in December, but he might as well still be a puppy!) I’m very proud of my big boy, though. This week he has been so patient with having the little guy around, which was a pleasant surprise because I was kinda expecting him to be super jealous and freak out. But it so cute watching these two run and play together at the park. I say run, but for Rebel it was more of a relaxed trot as Boone galloped at full speed.
Hadley really enjoyed playing at the park as well, giggling and running after the doggies saying “Ro-bow” and “da puppy” over and over again. 🙂 Luckily, there was a little shady spot for everyone to sit and relax in and escape the hot sun!
There were a bunch of apples on the ground from a tree that hung over the fence, and Michael managed to find the perfect one! Complete with leaf. 🙂 Our plan is to take the seeds and try to grow a tree of our own!
Boone is a great addition to the family and I know he will be a great dog for my mom. The only problem now is that I’m suffering from serious puppy fever. 😉
